Charles Duckens here, I understand that we will be together for the next week or so. Well not sure about you but it will be a long week. I mean I am sure it will be enjoy as you all seem like lovely people at little fowl.
If you joined Autism Edmonton for wine survivor then you will know by now that these posts are just for us fowl weather friends and not to be shared with those under 18 or who don’t have a sense of humour. Also, remember nothing is off limits except the out of bounds on the racecourse. The course’s name is Gentle Stream. But I think you will notice that this stream folks is nothing but gentle.
The races for the next three days will be heats if you look at the spreadsheet each of you are in a “seat” not sure your seat number look where your name is on your team order and count from the top – if your name is 1 – 2 -3 then you are in the third seat (you did race today.) Winners are also losers because while I disagree some people said there is sucha thing as winning too much beer. So if you win, or are in spot 14 as our Siding 14 winner, in 16th as the Original 16 winner or you finish dead last in your race – you win beer YEAHHHHH!! You, however, do not advance to the next round – BOOO! Hey we don’t make the rules, oh wait, never mind. Those are the rules that have been passed down to us from above – I was on the roof when I sent them down to scribe on the main level.
Quack, so we covered if you win beer you lose, if your team duck wins beer you win. OH Hey some of you struggled or at the very least didn’t talk to your teammates about the team duck – yeah we are going with a six-pack thing in reference to beer but we gotta lot going on and some of you struggled counting to six. We know it meant going to another hand but – whatever. So you are six packs going forward. Go check out your Six-Pack mates, their ducks colours and hats. Also can you please check out your team ducks – we have some teams that have gone a little rogue we need one name, hat, and colour. We only can have one of each for your six-pack. Email my scribe and they will make the corrections to your google sheet. If you signed up with other people and they aren’t part of your six-pack but they are friends with others – let the scribe know, changes may be able to be made.
Quack, that covers housepeeping.
Not really but we are tired it has been a long flight it isn’t easy organizing 264 ducks. No one wants to get in a row and even when they are, they don’t listen – well you’ll see – check out the races. Yeah we know the winners are below but if you just read the names and don’t watch the races you will spoil all the fun. So don’t be “that” person. We will know if you watched – YouTube has a counter and yes, you can share the link and show off your duck prowess. People can’t participate in these races – but they can join us for our celebration dinner on Saturday. Check out the website for more details www.greatestduckrace.org/dinnerinvite. Participants for dinner also get a special for the attendee only race… yup it is exclusive to dinner “guests” only. It is a virtual event and use code AE50 if you are ordering more than 3 meals. There are more details on the site so go there.
DON’T SCROLL ANY FURTHER UNTIL YOU HAVE WATCHED THE LINK – OH WAIT THE LINK IS BELOW THIS. SO SCROLL TO THE LINK – click it – THEN DON’T SCROLL UNTIL YOU HAVE WATCHED THE RACES. IT IS ONLY 8min55sec long. We are in COVID lockdown – like you don’t have the time.
Wasn’t that exciting. We are so out of breath – that was so intense. Well if you weren’t a duck race fan before we are sure you are now.

16 - Gordon
Last – Hulkbuster Duck
Huge shout out to Doug McLean, we were so lucky to have him calling our races this week folks he is in HIGH demand, he first got started calling the regional races in his local bathtub. The races were easier then – he only had one duck but he did work hard and has really made a name for himself in this rising sport. For you die-hard Quackles, you may remember his calling of the controversial race in Pakistan back in 2013. You are probably nodding your head thinking his voice is familiar. It is the same guy and we are so grateful to have him this week.
All the standings are on the website – click the link www.greatestduckrace.org – the see race tab will get you where you want to go…
Until tomorrow night –
